SRT specialists have decided it was time for us to receive more details on the street-legal 2014 Viper Time Attack sports car. For those of you who do not know yet, the model has as base the lightest model in the Viper range, the SRT. Now, when it comes to this TA Special Edition Package, the engineers have offered improved aerodynamics, chassis and brakes, to handle the extra power, but also a lot more, just to be sure it improves the driving experience on the racetrack. Just to make sure they please everyone, the carmaker offers them in three exclusive colors, TA Orange, Venom Black and Bright White. So that you know, the manufacturer will only built a limited production run of 159 vehicles.
To improve the chassis dynamics of the SRT, the engineers have included new spring rates, dampers, brake components and dampers. As standard, the TA comes equipped with Advanced Aerodynamic Package. Moving on, we also have to mention high-performance upgrades that include a race-tuned calibration for the two-mode Bilstein DampTronic suspension system, new Brembo two-piece, 32-mm wide rotors and standard Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires that hide ultra-lightweight, multi-spoke Sidewinder II wheels and a lot more. The Advanced Aerodynamics Package the engineers have offered to the new model boosts downforce by around 700 % at 150 mph, or at least this is what the manufacturer declared.
For the interior, the model received the Sabelt fabric racing seats with lightweight fiberglass shell and orange accent stitching on the seats, instrument panel, center stack, pull brake, console, steering wheel, upper doors and a lot more. The model receives power from an 8.4-liter V10 unit capable of generating 640 horsepower and 600 lb. ft. of torque.
