Mini has finally decided to put an end to our doubts and has offered us the first images of the all-new hatchback, a successor to the classic Mini designed by Sir Alec Issigonis. You can check out the photo gallery and see what we are talking about. We do have to admit that the new model does not look a lot different from its predecessor. It takes a lot of exercise to really see the differences. But for the ones that do not have a trained eye, please know that the new model has a fresh exterior appearance thanks to different elements, like the enlarged hexagonal radiator grille with chrome surround, bigger tail lamps and a lot more. To make sure everyone is happy the carmaker offers the new Mini with 5 paint finishes with the contrasting roof being available as an option at no extra cost.
The specialists have also offers as optional LED headlamps including DRLs with integrated direction indicator, LED fog lamps and also adaptive light distribution. The list continues with LED interior lights and orange coloured ambient lighting. In terms of output, you should know that the model is offered with a 1.5liter 3-cylinder and with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engines. When it will be launched the ones interested in it will have three options including the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine that will have as output 134 horsepower, the Mini Cooper S with 189 horsepower from the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder and last, but not least we have the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder diesel unit that will have as output 114 horsepower. The German engineers have also offered Dynamic Stability Control which also includes Dynamic Traction Control and Electronic Differential Lock Control which come as standard. Sales will only begin in the spring of next year.
