All the automakers are starting to announce details about a lot of their models for the next model year, 2011. This time, Alfa Romeo announced details for the 2011 Alfa Romeo 159.
Both the Alfa Romeo 159 and the Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon will get a number of improvements, including four new equipment packages which are very similar to those which are also available on the Alfa Romeo MiTo and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta hatchbacks. The names of the four packages available for the 2011 Alfa Romeo 159 are the TI Plus Pack, the Comfort Plus Pack, the Sport Pack and the Comfort Pack. Other improvements include new upholstery and trim options.
The Alfa Romeo 159 is the successor of the popular Alfa Romeo 156 and has been in production since 2005. The Alfa Romeo 159 is built in Italy, at the Pomigliano d`Arco factory owned by Alfa Romeo. Being a compact executive car, the Alfa Romeo 159 has some serious competition, including the Mercedes Benz C-Class, the BMW 3-Series, the Lexus IS or the Honda Accord. According to the roadmap of Alfa Romeo, the Alfa Romeo 159 will be replaced by the Alfa Romeo Giulia in 2012.
