Rare right-hand drive Mercedes 280SE Cabrio V8 hitting the block at Brooklands
Next month is coming up the Brooklands auction at the Historics. The auction`s star is a 1970 280SE 3.5 Cabrio Mercedes-Benz.
This car has an eight-cylinder engine displacing 3.5 liters (from 1965-1970 the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE had a six-cylinder engine fitted with a fuel injection system). A four-speed manual gearbox was standard with an automatic available as option equipment and the disk brakes could be found at all four corners.
This jewel has a low 22,000 miles on the clock and is one of the only 55 right-hand-drive examples ever built. It is expected to bring in between 107,000$-138,000 $.
