The upcoming 2012 BMW 1-Series has recently been spy photographed while it was undergoing some final testing on the famous Nurburgring circuit. Its launch is planned to take place later this year, but until then, these pictures reveal the car model wearing less camouflage. As the engineers prepare the car for production, the spy photographers said that the car was spotted while doing its fair share of laps. As compared to the current model, the next-generation 1-Series appears to look more upright and larger, too. It seems that BMW is making room for entry-level vehicles below the 1er in the product lineup. The prototypes that we have seen previously feature a slighter C-pillar which is expected to bring considerable improvements to the rear visibility.
