The Kia Sorento SUV is expected to make its debut towards the end of the year, being considered to be highly valuable as Kia is getting ready to take the fight to the Germans on every front. The current generation of the Sorento SUV was first previewed at the 2009 New York Auto Show. The latest spy photographs show the mid-life facelift of this popular vehicle while it was experiencing winter testing. It appears that the headlights are being completely overhauled, thus announcing that the most important change to the exterior will focus on the headlights, while most car fans expect to get a look that is quite similar to new Cee'd hatchback for the European market. According to the spy photographers, the Sorento was compared to some very stron benchmarks as it had been undergoing its tests together with the Audi Q5 and Mercdes GLK. This new generation is Kia's first model built in the United States, using a unistructure body.
