The Volkswagen Group was reported to have had a delay concerning the production of two luxury SUVs for its Lamborghini and Bentley brands which were previewed last year by the Urus Concepts and the EXP 9 F respectively. This was happening last October and the reason is the European crisis. Without the German group announcing its plans for the Lamborghini, Wolfgang Schreiber stated to the Autonews Europe that the company was close to a decision to build the EXP 9 F as a 2016 year model. Schreiber further informed that the concept's controversial styling would be toned down in order to fit the rest of Bentley's lineup, adding that the main intention was to get feedback from the market and not to show the final styling and that was a real Bentley. Bentley's SUV is likely to be released with a V8 and possibly a W12 option, sharing its underpinnings with respective models from Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi. Autonews Europe commented that Bentleys were luxury cars, but people definitely enjoyed the torque engines and effortless acceleration.
