Japanese carmaker promises to return to Le Mans 24 Hours next year and to do so, it started implementing a very complex plan. Apparently there will be a new headquarter for NISMO, the global performance and Motorsport brands of Nissan, in Japan. The two specialists will build a new model capable of great performance for next year. The entry model will test innovative new ower traint technology and provide the Automobile Club de lQuest and the Federation Internationale de lAutomobile with different data to enable all parties to evaluate the incorporation of this technology ahead of the potential return to endurance racing in the future. NISMO takes a commitment from Nissan to performance and motorsport innovation and a bold ambition to change expectations of that it can be dome in terms of performance. The first model to get the NISO treatment, the Juke NISMO is now on sale both in Europe and Japan and will also be available in the US starting this spring. A new version ot the 370Z developed for the European market is actually the next NISMO vehicle. The model had it official debut at the beginning of this month. This model is actually the second in its generation in the US with a revised 2014 370Z NISMO set for sale this summer. The new headquarters facility mentioned above allows the team to be co-located in one place. This will manage to bring together the functional areas for the key activities and technical situation NISMO handles and will also add the competition expertise. The new range of NISMO performance models will be built on the same production lines as their standard counterparts. The carmaker is planning to do miracles with the Nissan GT-R model capable of innovative performance across the Nissan range. All the experience the two parties have will be transferred directly into the new Nissan NISMO GT-R. The performance of the vehicle has been increased, the high-speed stability improved and the ride quality is now refined.
