Ford is working on the 2015 Mustang

So far we have heard a lot of information on the 2015 Mustang, but not enough apparently. In the gallery below you will have the opportunity to see several spy photos of the 2015 Mustang prototype. More details on the model will appear in the next few months which will lead to the world premiere in 2014. Nothing is for sure yet, but there are rumors according to which the model will be revealed for the first time next year in January at the Detroit Motor Show. it will not be a big surprise if Ford decides to chose the New York Auto Show that will take place in April to do the honors. The original model was revealed for the first time at the Fair of the World in New York, in April 17th, 1964. it is true, we had the opportunity to see spy photos of the 2015 model, but were all test mules. The one in this photo gallery is believed to hide the actual bodywork of the 6th generation model which will most probably be very impressive. Because of the pads under the wraps on most sections of the body, including the roof, do not allow us to make any conclusive remarks on its styling. The next Mustang is codenamed S550 and it comes with a lot of retro styling cues. The model has adopted an independent rear suspension and a turbocharged 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine that will help the carmaker enter other markets outside the US, and even in Europe. A recent report indicated the fact that the model will have a 2.3-liter displacement engine for the US which is expected to deliver somewhere around 350 horsepower. As a base model, Ford could sell it overseas with a 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost. Soon, the Americans will also reveal the Shelby GT500-like model that will compete with the Camaro ZL1.
