Founded in 1963, Automobili Lamborghini, the company headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in Northeastern Italy, celebrates 50 years of existence. Along these years they have been manufacturing the most wanted and innovative cars and they are now working on the project of a future vehicle which will be named the Lamborghini Cabrera.
Since Lamborghini has a lot of fans, suppositions keep being spread. Carbon Designs is the firm that has recently come up with an illustration of the Lamborghini Cabrera which is said to replace the Gallardo model. The plans are to introduce the Cabrera sometimes this year. As mystery spices up the waiting, Lamborghini hasn’t offered too many details about the future super car. However it is expected that the car will be a mixture of elements taken from the Aventador, the Veneno, the Egoista and the Sesto Elemento. So it will be a vehicle worth of its name.
As a rumour, it is said that the Lamborghini Cabrera will be powered by a V10 engine that will produce at least 610 HP (448 kW) and almost 575 Nm (424 lb-ft) of torque. The supercar should tip the scales at around 2,887 lbs (1,309 kg) and sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds. It will have a four-wheel drive system and a dual-clutch gearbox. Maybe the Frankfurt Auto Show will be the longed for moment and up till then fans can only imagine the perfection of the Cabrera.
