Traditional fuelled Audi Q7 planned for China and USA
Hybrid cars seem to be the trendiest on the auto market these days. More and more persons enter the eco-friendly fashion. The Audi Q7 e-tron is one of the most appreciated hybrid vehicles. The car has just been presented at the Geneva Motor Show and it represents the second plug-in hybrid after the A3 Sportback e-tron.
The Q7 e-tron is powered by a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbodiesel engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. Despite the fact that the Audi Q7 is quite appreciated as a hybrid, the German manufacturer decided to enter the Chinese and American markets with gasoline versions of the model.
The Audi Q7 will be available with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine for the already mentioned two markets, adding that the diesel-powered version could still arrive to U.S. later on if there will demand. And this diesel will be on top of the range. The vehicle will certainly cost more than the Q7 4.2 TDI version which in Germany is priced at €76,100.
